For parents
Your child’s attendance, fees and report card, now on your phone
बच्चे की हाज़िरी, फ़ीस और रिपोर्ट कार्ड, अब फ़ोन पर।
Parents see it all in the Smart Gurukul app, in Hindi or English, without waiting for the next PTM.
In short: parents use the same Smart Gurukul app with a parent login. They see their child’s attendance, fees and report card, in Hindi or English. All their children at the school appear on one login, and they sign in with a one-time code on their phone.
Daily attendance
Each day marked present, absent, late or half-day, with a monthly calendar.
Fees and dues
What’s due and what’s paid, so there are no surprises at the fee counter.
Report card
Results appear once the school publishes them, term by term.
All children, one login
Brothers and sisters at the same school show up together.
Hindi or English
Switch the whole app to Hindi in one tap.
Simple sign-in
A one-time code on the parent’s phone. No password to remember.
For the school
Fewer calls to the office
When parents can check attendance, dues and results themselves, the office spends less time answering the same questions on the phone. Parents register themselves and link to their child, and the school approves them, so nobody types parent accounts in by hand.
Also for parents: chat with teachers, alerts for absences and fee due dates, and a PDF report card to download.
FAQ
Parent app: common questions
Is there a separate app for parents?
No. Parents use the same Smart Gurukul app and sign in with a parent login. It shows their child’s attendance, fees and report card.
Can one parent see more than one child?
Yes. All of a parent’s children at the school appear on one login.
How do parents sign in?
With their mobile number and a one-time code. A parent first links to their child using details the school already has, and the school approves the request.
Can parents chat with teachers in the app?
Parents can chat with their child’s teachers and the school office in the app, and get alerts when their child is absent or a fee is due. Parents see fees and dues in the app; fees are paid at the school as today.
